Apps7 operates a website and several apps. It is Apps7’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information I may collect while operating my websites and apps.

Your privacy is important to me. I have few fundamental principles:

  • I don’t ask you for personal information unless I truly need it.
  • I don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop my products, or protect my rights.
  • I don’t store personal information on my own servers.

Below is my privacy policy which incorporates these goals:

Usage Analytics

All my apps use Apple Analytics to collect information about the way you use them by default. This data is always anonymised before it is sent to Apple Analytics, and cannot be used to personally identify you. I look only for broad patterns in the aggregated usage data, such as whether or not a particular feature is frequently used, or whether users in general prefer one setting over another. This helps me make informed decisions about the future development of my apps. To be clear, I cannot track an individual user’s behaviour. I also cannot receive information from your device’s displays, cameras, or microphones. You can opt-out learn here how to on iOS and macOS.

Crash Logs

If one of my apps crashes while you are using it, data about the crash will be collected and sent to Apple Analytics to help identify the cause of the crash so that I can try to fix it in a future update. These “crash logs” contain information about the state of the app, operating system, and device at the time of the crash. Nothing in the crash log can be used to personally identify you, and crash logs do not contain any of your private data. You can opt-out learn here how to on iOS and macOS.

Website Visitors

When you interact with my servers using a web browser, or indirectly by network requests sent on your behalf by my apps, some metadata about the request may be logged by me. This metadata may include your IP address, the name of the resource requested, and the name and version number of the software making the request.

I generally don’t look at these logs unless a server appears to be being maliciously used or attacked in some way. I may look at the information in aggregate to see statistics such as how many times my apps have been downloaded, or from what sources network traffic is arriving.

Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information

Certain visitors to Apps7’s website and/or apps choose to interact with Apps7 in ways that require Apps7 to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that Apps7 gathers depends on the nature of the interaction.
